Following cardiac bypass surgery, Steve Lichtman had a disabling stroke. Suddenly, he was experiencing his workplace from the other side of the spectrum - as a patient.
Through intensive physical, occupational & speech therapy, Steve worked hard to regain his functional abilities, meeting every challenge doled out by his therapists.
Shortly after discharge, he returned to work at Helen Hayes Hospital.
