Following two surgeries for a fractured elbow,
Julie received outpatient aquatic therapy at Helen Hayes Hospital.
Julie’s accident resulted in pain, stiffness, and
weakness throughout her right arm and her neck.
Hands-on techniques were used to release tight muscles
and improve mobility in her neck and shoulder.
Therapeutic exercises to restore strength and improve her posture
and alignment were also part of her treatment plan.
Post therapy, Julie was able to return to her daily activities with less pain and improved mobility in her neck and arm.
